The Tall Wainscot Cap is a primed Finger-Joint Pine trim that fits onto a 1/2" upper rail in our Elite Wainscot Systems. It measures 8 ft long with a 2 1/2" by 1 3/8" profile and is offered with a range of back sets and dados to match your application. Made from Pine, this cap offers better impact resistance and water resistance than MDF, which makes it a smart choice at the most handled point of a wainscot. The primed finish means it is ready to paint as soon as it is installed. This version is sized for a 1/2" back set to seat cleanly over a 1/2" rail.
